KIG defends against Motion to Dismiss in Lawsuit against County

KIG and neighboring landowners filed suit against the County challenging the approval of ordinances to change the zoning to double residential density on a parcel of land along Highway 17 across from Hog Heaven near Prince George.

The landowner, Benjamin Goff Trust, filed a Motion to Dismiss and yesterday lawyers for KIG filed a Memorandum in Opposition to the Motion to Dismiss on behalf of the residents of the lower Waccamaw Neck. Argument on the motion is scheduled to be heard by Georgetown County Circuit Judge Culbertson on March 4, 2022.

This is an important matter that impacts all residents of the Waccamaw Neck. If you are interested in learning more about what is happening in our county, you may download and read the Memorandum in Opposition at the link below. Thank you!
